Wayne Ledbetter

Mr. Ledbetter has been teaching for the past 41 

years at Perry-Lecompton. Wayne is currently part-time and teaching geography and economics.  He in the past has taught biology for 16 years, was a career coordinator for 10, and full time social studies for 7 years.  He also coached 94 teams in football, basketball, track, baseball, and softball.

    In Mr. Ledbetter's free time he enjoys working, reading, any "outdoors stuff", and going to new places.

"I did not always plan to teach, but it's probably where I belong. I've loved all 40 years.  I began college in medical technology but I didn't have the high school background for the college physics required. A blessing in disguise."
