Lola Ward

         Ms. Lola Ward has been teaching for 19 years and has been at Perry-Lecompton High School for the past 17 years.  Currently, she teaches English 1, British Literature, Debate, Forensics, Creative Writing, and English III. Ms. Ward is the sponsor for the Writers and Arts club, Debate, and Forensics at PLHS. 

    Lola has three children all soon to be married and two grandchildren.  In her free time she enjoys sewing, reading, and walking.

         Ms. Ward has a Bachelor of Science Degree in education and History from Missouri Western University, a second Bachelor of Science degree in English from Washburn University and a Masters degree from Ashford University in Teaching and Learning with Technology.

        Ms. Ward has three grown children and two grandchildren and really likes visiting them in her spare time. Outside of school Ms.Ward likes softball and baseball, but had to stop playing after an injury a few years ago.  She also likes to walk, hike, sew, and read.
