Jared Swafford has been a teacher at PLHS for 10 years. Before becoming a teacher, he worked at PLHS as a para.  He has a business managment degree from Emporia State and attended Grad School at Fort Hays State University.

         Mr. Swafford currently teaches business and technology classes.  These include Web Page Design, Emerging Technology, Computer Applications, Business Essentials, and Investing. He is also the FBLA sponsor, and coaches varsity boys head basketball, track, and football coach.  

       Outside of school, Mr. Swafford enjoys working outside, playing with his kids, and golfing. He also has a wife, Jamie and three sons, Chase- 5 years old, Cash- 3 years, and Jett- 1 year old. He also has two dogs and 13 fish.
