Perry -Lecompton High School Staff
Tracey Paramore
Tracey Paramore has been with PLHS for 9 years, but she has
been teaching for 26 years. She got her degree in science
and math at Pittsburg State for four years and also has a degree
in school counseling, and instructional design, both she got at
Emporia State that took her four years to get as well.
Mrs. Paramore thought about counseling on and off to make
sure it was the right job for her. Before becoming a
counselor, she started out teaching because it was a
passion of hers, so she decided to become a math teacher. Her
decision was made until she got into college and during that
time, she was coaching three sports. During her free time, Mrs. Paramore loves to go to school every day and says that she runs a small business on the side of her work.
When she decides to retire one day, she has always thought
about traveling to new places she has never been to before. The
other activities she thought about continuing to do is
volunteering for her community and to keep on running her side
business.
