Mrs. Moland has been with the Perry-Lecompton School district for 10 years. Her first 7 years were as a science teacher. The past 3 years  she has been an administrator.  

       Mrs. Moland decided to become an administrator because, it has given her the opportunity to see education from another side and so she can learn more about the education of students from another perspective. She also says that becoming an administrator was the next step in her career. 

       Mrs. Moland got her undergraduate from Fort Hays and her masters degree from Mississippi State. She is also more than half way through her PhD from Kansas University. 

       Last but not least, in her free time, she takes her children to the library to spend time with them and loves playing outdoors with them too.
