Pat Winchester

       Mr. Winchester started teaching 31 years ago in 1988. Mr. Winchester taught at Arkansas Ctity High School from 1988-1990. Pat then moved to Lawrence Gardner High School at Topeka Juvenile Correctional Facility, Topeka, Kansas in August 1990. Mr. Winchester taught there until July of 1994.

Pat then began teaching at Jefferson West in Meriden, he quit teaching there in May, 1999. Mr. Winchester took a 5 year break from 1999-2004 to take care of his kids and to investigate into other careers. Mr. Winchester then started teaching at Perry-Lecompton High in 2004.

    Currently, he teaches CAD/drafting, cabinet making, small gas engines and intro to industrial tech.  Mr. Winchester is also the Skills USA sponsor and football statistician.

        Mr. Winchester is married and has three daughters that will graduate from Kansas State University. GO CATS!  

   In his spare time, Mr. Winchester is involved with the Knights of the Columbus, a catholic fraternal service organization. Mr. Winchester recently completed a 2 year run as the "State Deputy," which is equivalent of the president of the organization of Kansas. He likes wood working and yard work, skiing and canoeing, Mr. Winchester says, "lately, I've been so busy raising kids and working with my church, I haven't been able to do these things, but I will get back in the groove this summer."
