Mr. Maloun has been in education for 27 years. He spent 5 years as an assistant band director in Bonner springs then 19 years as a band director here at Perry-Lecompton. He has been the principal in the middle school for 2 years and has been the principal for both the high school and middle school.

     He spends his free time with his family, which includes his wife Beth, his two sons Ben and Nick, as well as 3 dogs, 2 cats, and 11 chickens. He also enjoys golf and likes to drive. For the past 8 summers, he has driven a bus over the road for a touring drum and bugle corps. When not doing that he enjoys being an Uber driver. Mr. Maloun likes meeting new people and likes knowing he is helping provide a safe ride home for people.
