Debbie is the Administrative Assistant and has been working in the office at PLHS since August of 2016, but has previously been at USD 343 from May 2006 to April 2011 and has been working as an Administrative Assistant for sixteen years. The most favorite thing that she says that she loves about her job is being around the students. She used to work at Bert Nash Mental Health Center for two years.  Her education is from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR and got her BA in Journalism from there that took her four and a half years to get. She originally wanted to become a teacher in Journalism, but found out from her college advisor that the job market is tight for it and it would be hard trying to find a job, so she changed her mind. 

   

Debbie enjoys spending time with her husband Randy, playing games on her iPad, crochet, making fleece blankets, and watching her son Braden wrestle.  She also enjoys cooking, and baking in her freetime. When she retires, she is hoping to travel to places that she has always wanted to go, but she is not going to hold her breath on it.
