The Perry-Lecompton High School National Honor Society (NHS) recognizes students for their accomplishments in and out of school. Students are asked to apply to be a member of this elite club. If they are accepted, students participate in an induction ceremony that outlines the four characteristics associated with being a member. Each member is sworn “to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of secondary schools.”
