PLHS Sponsor: Mrs. Ward

      At PLHS, forensics is offered as a club and a class. Students practice speaking and acting, and then travel to compete at other schools. They can participate in ten events; Impromptu Speaking, Extemporaneous Speaking, Informative Speaking, Original Oration, Serious Solo Acting, Humorous Solo Acting, Duet Acting, and Impromptu Duet Acting. Students will take part in two events per tournament for three rounds. If a student goes into the finals and finishes in the top two-four in their event, they are eligible for the state tournament.
