Debate at PLHS is a fun and challenging club for students who enjoy learning about new topics and debating about things that they learn. Ms. Ward wants to encourages everyone to come and join Debate, but warns students that debate is a challenge and is not for the weak of heart. Students travel to tournaments and debate a central topic. Students debate either the affirmative or the negative and then get scored based upon their argument.
